In March 2005 the yearling Nasr
Al Sharbatly (Simeon Sharav x Zizi) attended the National Show of
Egypt for the very first time. A young prince holding court! The
same question was on everyone’s lips... "who is this beautiful colt?"
As he was being crowned Junior National Champion of Egypt, all visitors
cheered for him and by now everyone knew the name of the elegant
youngster: Nasr Al Sharbatly, bred and owned by Al Sharbatly Stud!
Last November, he triumphantly returned to the show ring and yet
again was awarded with the National Champion title. In reviewing
this already stellar show record, one must remember that Nasr Al
Sharbatly is only four years of age and his whole future lies ahead
of him!
Nasr is one of the first foals of Simeon Sharav (Asfour x Simeon
Shuala) and by far his winningest one. Sharav was born at Simeon
Stud in Australia and imported to Egypt by Nasr Marei. Today Simeon
Sharav is a household name but when he was bred to Nasr’s dam back
in 2003, nobody had him on the list because he never had seen the
show ring nor had he any foals on the ground then. The elegant,

was one of the first outside mares booked to him and when she was
in foal to him, Simeon Sharav was shown to his first championship
in Egypt!
Everyone who knows Nasr Al Sharbatly would agree that he has the
potential to win in every show ring anywhere in the world. His movement
is fluid and powerful, the body exceptionally strong and smooth,
his head is exotic and perfectly sculpted. To see him is to know
how an Arabian horse should look like!
Whenever Nasr is asked for, he starts to show off for visitors –
ears pricked, nostrils flared, tail high in the air – but within
seconds he cools down again and is the easy-going fellow who enjoys
a stroke from his owner.

Malak Al Sharbatly is of the same quality.
The judges agreed and named her the 2007 Junior National Champion
Filly of Egypt – at the same show where her brother garnered the
championship for colts. Full brother and full sister together on
the championship thrown, bred and owned by the same farm – this
was an unprecedented event in the history of the Egyptian National
Show!
Today Nasr Al Sharbatly already has his first foals on the ground
that are clearly stamped with their sires' virtues. Additional photos

ägyptischen National-Schau vorgestellt. Ein junger Prinz, der Hof
hielt! Jeder Zuschauer stellte sich dieselbe Frage: "Wer ist dieser
schöne Hengst?" Als er zum Nationalen Junioren-Champion von Ägypten
ernannt wurde, wusste jeder, wer er war: Nasr Al Sharbatly, gezogen
und im Besitz des Gestüts "Al Sharbatly".
Letzten November kehrte er im Triumph in den Schauring zurück und
wurde erneut zum National-Champion ernannt. Wenn man sich diese
Erfolge vor Augen führt, sollte man bedenken, dass der Hengst erst
vier Jahre alt ist und seine Zukunft noch vor sich hat!
Nasr ist eine der ersten Nachkommen von Simeon Sharav (Asfour x
Simeon Shuala) und mit Abstand sein gewinnreichster. Sharav wurde
im australischen Simeon-Gestüt geboren und von Nasr Marei nach Ägypten
importiert. Heute kennt ihn jeder, doch als er im Jahr 2003 Nasrs
Mutter deckte, war er ein unbeschriebenes Blatt ohne Schauerfolge
und ohne Nachkommen. Die elegante, langbeinige und gangstarke Fuchsstute
Zizi (Emad El Din x Bint Nazli von Gad Allah)
war eine der ersten Fremdstuten für ihn und als sie bereits sein
Fohlen erwartete, gewann Simeon Sharav sein erstes Championat!
Jeder, der Nasr Al Sharbatly kennt, ist überzeugt davon, dass er
in jedem Schauring der Welt bestehen kann. Seine Bewegungen sind
flüssig und kraftvoll, der Körper stark und kompakt, der Kopf exotisch
und perfekt modelliert. Wer ihn sieht, versteht, wie ein arabisches
Pferd auszusehen hat!
Auf den leisesten Wink hin beginnt er sich zu präsentieren – er
spitzt die Ohren, bläht die Nüstern, wirft den Schweif über den
Rücken – doch in Sekundenschnelle verwandelt er sich wieder zurück
in den sanftmütigen Kumpel, der Streicheleinheiten von seinem Besitzer
einfordert.

Malak Al Sharbatly ist von gleicher Qualität.
Das sahen die Richter genauso und machten sie 2007 zur Junioren-Championesse
von Ägypten – auf der gleichen Schau, auf der ihr Bruder das Championat
der Junghengste gewann. Vollbruder und Vollschwester, gezüchtet
und im Besitz des gleichen Gestüts, gemeinsam auf dem Siegerthron
– das hatte es auf der ägyptischen National-Schau zuvor noch nie
gegeben!
Heute hat Nasr Al Sharbatly schon die ersten Fohlen vorzuweisen,
